Form Factor

Form factor describes the size, shape, and physical layout of a computer or component. It helps determine where the system can be installed and what parts will fit inside it. In industrial computing, form factor matters because systems may need to fit inside vehicles, cabinets, kiosks, racks, or machines.

Firmware

Firmware is software that is built into hardware to help it start up and operate. It often controls basic functions before the main operating system loads. Firmware is used in computers, storage drives, network devices, sensors, and many electronic parts.

Flash Memory
